Library programs shall have priority over other meetings. Public use of the conference and meeting rooms shall not interfere with the library operations.
Scheduling

Apply online or contact the Library Operations Center between 8:30a.m. - 5:00p.m daily Monday - Friday at 330-262-0916, extension 7024.

Persons requesting the use of a Conference or Meeting room must be 18 years of age. This person (the scheduling requester) must be present at all times that a Conference or Meeting room is being used.

Conference and Meeting rooms are free of charge.
-
Conference and Meeting rooms are available for use by individuals and groups for educational, cultural, and community purposes.

All meetings in the Conference and Meeting rooms are open to the public.

Conference and Meeting rooms are not scheduled on a regular basis and are not booked more than six (6) months in advance.

Filling out a meeting room request does not guarantee a room. You will receive a phone or email confirmation of your request.
Meeting Criteria

A group requesting the use of a Conference or Meeting room is responsible for setting up the table sand chairs and returning the room to the original arrangement at the end of the meeting and before the library closes.

Meetings should end at least ten (10) minutes before the Library's closing time.
- Groups that desire to use the Conference and Meeting rooms after regular hours of operation must submit a written request, at least a week in advance, that includes the date and start and end times of the meeting.
- Confirmation of after hours Conference and Meeting room use, including charges*, will be provided in writing by the Library administration.
- * A Library representative will be present at all times when a group uses the Conference and Meeting rooms after hours. The Library representative will lock up the building after the meeting concludes.

The Library does not store any items for groups that meet at the Library.

No fees (or collections or donations) may be charged or taken by an individual or group using a Conference or Meeting room.

No fund raising programs are permitted in the Conference or Meeting room, except by the Library or Friends of the Library.

The use of a Conference and Meeting by a non-library group shall not be publicized in such a way as to state or imply Library sponsorship of the group's activities.
Standard Rules

Recycling is mandatory and containers for aluminum, plastic bottles, and trash are provided. Please place your recyclables properly in the labeled containers.

No smoking or other use of tobacco (or similar) products is allowed at any time or anywhere on the Library campus.

No alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Light refreshments (such as box lunches, breakfast pastries, or hors d'oeuvres, may be served and must be completely cleaned up the end of the scheduled meeting.

The Library reserves the right to review the use of food in the room. Advance notice is required.

Do not attach anything to the wall, floor, or ceiling of the Conference or Meeting rooms without prior written permission of the Library Administration.
- If a Conference or Meeting room is damaged or soiled, the person or group who scheduled the meeting shall be billed for any needed cleaning or repair costs to the Library.

Abuse of any conference room policy or procedure may lead to loss of conference and meeting room privileges.

The Library is not responsible for injuries to people or damage to property of individuals or organizations using a Conference or Meeting room.
Cancellation

Notification of cancellation of a scheduled Conference or Meeting room should be done a week in advance of the meeting date.

The Library has the right to cancel meetings due to inclement weather, power failure, or a natural disaster.
