Using the Library’s resources is easier than ever. You can GET A LIBRARY CARD online and access our digital resources from anywhere.
Use your card to access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, music, movies, and shows without ever stepping foot into one of our buildings. Check out LIBBY, HOOPLA, AND KANOPY to start reading and streaming.
If you would prefer to come in person we would love to have you stop by any of our eight locations! You can find the MAIN LIBRARY in Downtown Wooster. We have Branches in CRESTON, DALTON, DOYLESTOWN, RITTMAN, SHREVE, and WEST SALEM. We also have two BOOKMOBILES that have stops all over the County!
You can check out all your usual items like books, music, movies, games, and toys. We’ve also added a special collection called the LIBRARY OF THINGS, in this collection you can find all sorts of items. From blood pressure cuffs, to radon detectors, to vehicle diagnostics, the collection offers things that you might want to try before you buy or only use once or twice.
Did you also know that Wayne County Public Library is FINE FREE? Beginning in January of 2019 WCPL owned items are fine free. The only charge that you might incur would be a lost item charge should you never return an item, or a damage fee if items are returned damaged.
